2. Download the SOAOTH-00248428-1040.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOAOTH-00248428-1040.EXE file to begin the installation.
4. At the “User Account Control” screen, click “Yes”.
5. If the “Select Language” screen appears, select the language you wish to use, and then click “OK”.
6. At the “Select Country” screen, select the country for this installation, and then click “Next”.
7. At the “VAIO Application Data Update Program Ver. 1.0.0.04130″ screen, click “Next”.
8. At the “License Agreement” dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click “I Agree” to continue with the installation.
9. At the “Update completed” screen, click “OK”.
10. At the “Finish” screen, click “Finish”.
11. Restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the VAIO Application Data Update is complete.
