What does this do?

This utility installs an updated version of the AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics driver to resolve the following issues:

  • Resolves an issue where the error message “The benchmark run aborted. This may be due to you having clicked Cancel or activating another program.” The message appears when running the Complete PC performance analysis feature within the “PCMark Vantage” application.
  • Resolves the issue of the error message “Catalyst Control Center. Host application has stopped working.” The message appears when running the benchmark test using the “3DMark06″ application.

Download and Installation Instructions
  1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
  2. Download the A2DVID-00247846-1040.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
  3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the A2DVID-00247846-1040.EXE file to begin the installation.
  4. At the “User Account Control” screen, click “Yes”.
  5. At the “Select Country” screen, select the country for this installation, and then click “Next”.
  6. At the “AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics Update Ver. 8.792.2.3000″ screen, click “Next”.
  7. At the “License Agreement” dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click “I Agree” to continue with the installation.
  8. At the “Finished” screen, click “Finish”.
  9. At the “This system must be restarted to complete the installation” screen, click “OK” to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics Driver is complete.
