Download and Installation Instructions

1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
2. Download the UPAPWD-01039705-US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the UPAPWD-01039705-US.EXE file to begin the installation.
4. At the “UPEK Protector Suite QL Installation Utility for Microsoft Windows XP” screen, click “Next”.
5. At the “License Agreement” dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click “I Agree” to continue with the installation.
6. At the “Welcome to Protector Suite QL 5.3 Installation Wizard” screen, click “Next”.
7. At the “End-User License Agreement” dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click “I accept the license agreement”, then click “Next”.
8. At the “User Information” screen, enter your information, and then click “Next”.
9. At the “Destination Folder” screen, click “Next”.
10. At the “Ready to Install the Application” screen, click “Next”. NOTE: Several setup boxes may briefly appear during the installation. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
11. At the “Finished” dialog, click “Finish”.
12. At the “Install Information” screen, click “Yes” to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the UPEK Protector Suite QL software is complete.
