Sony PCG-Z505JE Notebook Yamaha DS-XG Audio Driver [Win2000]

• Before installing Windows 2000 Professional or this update, please be sure to read Installing the Windows 2000 Operating System. Most of Sony’s Windows 2000 software updates require you to install Windows 2000 Professional in C:\WINNT. If Windows 2000 is not installed in this location, these updates will not install correctly.
• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

1. Download the YA2236.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the YA2236.EXE file to begin the installation.
   NOTE: If a “Your system will now reboot” message appears, click OK to restart the system.
3. At the “Install Status” box, click Yes to continue the installation.
4. At the “Digital Signature Not Found” box, click Yes to continue the installation.
5. At the “InstallShield Wizard Complete” screen, select “Yes, I want to restart my computer now.” and click Finish.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Yamaha Audio Device Driver is complete.
