What does this do?

This utility updates the Sony DVgate Plus™ software to add support for 4 channel DV devices and 4/5.1 channel AVI files, and also resolves the following issues:

• The image is delayed when previewing MICROMV files.
• Failure to output files to a MICROMV device when repeating output of files to a MICROMV device.
• If a clip of more than 2 hours is exported to the hard drive, audio and video may become unsynchronized during playback.
• Failure to output clips to a DV Device, if the clips list includes a clip that is less two seconds long.
• Click to DVD™ software cannot read Click to DVD Project files, created in “File Output”, that contain the ampersand (&) character.

Important Notes

• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

Download and Installation Instructions

1. Download the SO-Q80600803HX04US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SO-Q80600803HX04US.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the “License Agreement” dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click “I Agree” to continue with the installation.
4. At the “Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for DVgate Plus” box, click “Next”.
5. At the “InstallShield Wizard Complete” box, click “Finish”.

The installation of the DVgate Plus™ update is complete.
