Sony PCG-VX89 Notebook Sony 16bit ATA PC Card Driver Utility [WinXP]

• Prior to installing this driver, connect the PCMCIA CD-ROM drive to the computer system.
• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

1. Download the SOR108XNDS.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOR108XNDS.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the “Sony 16bit ATA PC Card Driver – InstallShield Wizard” box, click Next.
   Several setup boxes may briefly appear during the installation. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
   NOTE:  If an “Information” box appears prompting you to reboot to verify the system model, click OK. After the computer restarts, please continue with step 5 above.
4. At the “InstallShield Wizard Complete” screen, select “Yes, I want to restart my computer now.” and click Finish to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Sony 16bit ATA PC Card Driver is complete.
