What does this do?

This program will install the original 16-bit ATA PC Card driver for the Windows XP Operating Systems.

Important Notes
  • Prior to this driver installation, connect the PCMCIA CD-ROM drive to the computer.
  • During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
  • To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
  • It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
Download and Installation Instructions
  1. Download the SOR108XNAB.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
  2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOR108XNAB.EXE file to begin the installation.
  3. At the “SONY 16bit ATA PC Card Driver – InstallShield Wizard” box, click Next. Several setup boxes will briefly appear as the files are extracted and the computer model is identified. As these processes complete, the boxes will close automatically.
  4. At the “InstallShield Wizard Complete” screen, verify that “Yes, I want to restart my computer now” is selected and click Finish.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the SONY 16bit ATA PC Card Driver is complete.
