Download and Installation Instructions
  1. Download the RE-E55900802GE04UN.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
  2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double click the RE-E55900802GE04UN.EXE file to begin the installation.
  3. At the “Realtek AC’97 Audio Device Driver for Windows XP” screen, click Next.
  4. At the “License Agreement” dialog box, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click “I Agree”.
  5. At the “Finish” dialog, click Finish, then OK to reboot the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Realtek AC’97 audio device driver is complete.
