What does this do?

This update resolves the following issues:

  • Horizontal line appears on the screen after entering hibernation mode.
  • Blue screen occurs when launching samples included in the Java2 Software Development Kit(SDK).
  • System freezes when playing Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002. Error message: “The driver for the display device was unable to complete a drawing operation” is displayed after terminating the game or restarting the computer.

Important Notes
  • During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
  • To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
  • It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
Download and Installation Instructions
  1. Download the AT-B62430C02DI.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
  2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the AT-B62430C02DI.EXE file to begin the installation.
  3. At “Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for ATI MOBILITY RADEON Video Driver 6.13.10.6243″ box, click Next. Please Wait for this update to confirm the computer model and extract the installation files.
    NOTE: Several setup boxes may briefly appear during the installation, do not interrupt this process. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
  4. At the “Setup Complete” screen, select “Yes, I want to restart my computer now.” and click Finish to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the ATI Mobility Radeon Graphics Controller Driver is complete.
