What does this do?

This utility will update the Sony MPEG Realtime Encoder Driver and resolve the following issues:

  • A noise may be heard when changing video input.
  • Video capsules may be created which cannot use "CLIE Converter".

Important Notes

  • To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
  • It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
Download and Installation Instructions
  1. Download the SO-B00310803LP03US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
  2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SO-B00310803LP03US.EXE file to begin the installation.
  3. At the "Sony MPEG RealTime Encoder Driver for Windows XP -" click Next.
  4. At the "Finished" screen, click Finish.
  5. Restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Sony MPEG Realtime Encoder Driver is completed.
