What does this do?

This utility updates the Click to DVD software to version 1.3.0.08060 and resolves the following issues:

• Menus created for the DVD display at the end of DVD playback.
• An error occurs at the preview screen.
• Program sometimes fails to create the DVD image.
• Captured videos that have been placed in the “Trash Can” do not get deleted when closing the program.

Important Notes

• This update is only for systems that originally shipped with Click to DVD software and have a DVD-RW drive installed.
• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

Download and Installation Instructions

1. Download the SO-Z80600803HM03US-C.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SO-Z80600803HM03US-C.EXE file to extract the install files.
3. At the “WinZip Self-Extractor – SO-Z80600803HM03US-C.EXE” window, click “Unzip” to extract the install files to the default folder. NOTE: By default the four install files (SO-Z80600803HM03US.EXE, SO-Z80600803HM03US.W02, SO-Z80600803HM03US.W03, and SO-Z80600803HM03US.W04) will be extracted to the folder “C:\temp”.
4. At the “4 file(s) unzipped successfully” message, click “OK”.
5. At the “WinZip Self-Extractor – SO-Z80600803HM03US-C.EXE” window, click “Close”.
6. Go to folder where the install files were extracted (“C:\temp” by default) and double-click the SO-Z80600803HM03US.EXE file to begin the installation. NOTE: All four install files must be in the same folder or the update will not install.
7. At the “Click to DVD Upgrade Setup for Microsoft Windows XP” box, click “Next”.
8. At the “Setup Competed” screen, click “Finish”.

Installation of the Sony Click to DVD Upgrade program is complete.

Uninstall Information

If, after installing this update, you ever decide to uninstall the Click to DVD software, an error message similar to the following will be displayed when the uninstall reaches approximately 90%:

• “The following error occurred on file, C:\Documents and Settings\AllUsers\???? ????\????\Click to DVD\ …..”

When this error message appears, click the “Ignore” button and then click “OK” at the “Component Transfer” error window to continue. After these steps, the uninstall process of the Click to DVD software is complete.
