What does this do?

This program will install the Sony DVgate™ Plug-in for the Adobe Premiere 6.0 application.

What products and operating systems does this apply to?

Important Notes

• Adobe Premiere 6.0 or 6.0 LE does not ship factory-installed with all model configurations. If Adobe Premiere 6.0 or 6.0 LE is not installed on your computer, this update is not needed.
• For Windows XP Upgrade systems only: Please read the Sony Windows XP Upgrade Information page, if the computer will be or has been upgraded to the Windows XP operating system. If the new operating system is not installed or configured correctly, some updates may not install properly.
• If Windows XP is installed, during the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

Download and Installation Instructions

1. Download the PLUGIN62.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the PLUGIN62.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. Please follow the on-screen prompts carefully to complete the installation.
