The following describes how to download and install the video driver update ATI Rage Moblity-M1 version 5.00.2195.5011a on the VAIO model PCG-C1VFK with Windows 2000 preinstalled.

• Prepare a new folder in the C:\ directory to place the file downloaded from the web - Name it Download folder.
• Download the Video Chip Drivers file from your models download section into the Download folder.
• When the download is complete, right-click My Computer and click Explore. Once in Windows Explorer, click the View menu and click Details. Browse to the location of your file to check the size of it. If the driver size is the same, your download has been successfully completed, if the size is different, delete the file you have downloaded and restart the download.
• Extract the content of the downloaded VCS_ATI_50021955011a.exe file into the download folder

Installation Instructions

• Please make sure you are logged on as an administrator.
• Go to C:\Download.
• Double-click the Setup.exe file.
• Click Next and then click Yes.
• Select Yes, restart the computer now and then click Finish.
