What does this do?

This utility will install the Sony PCGA-UVC10 USB Camera Driver for VAIO computer models. For the PCG-C1xx models only, it also resolves the following issues:

• Camera volume is too low.
• Captured images are distorted when capturing images during a video chat using the Microsoft Messenger software.

Important Notes

• Connect the PCGA-UVC10 USB camera before installing this driver.
• For Windows 2000 and Windows XP systems only: During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

Download and Installation Instructions

1. Download the SO-511720F03EM.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SO-511720F03EM.EXE file to begin the installation. Please wait for this update extract the installation files, it may take few minutes.
3. At the "Sony Visual Communication Camera PCGA-UVC10 Application Installer Setup" box, verify the "Device Driver For PCGA-UVC10" option is checked, click Next. Please wait while drivers are installed.
4. At the "Install Wizard Complete" screen, select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now," and click Finish.

After computer restarts, installation of the Sony PCGA-UVC10 USB Camera Driver is complete.
