What does this do?

This update resolves the issue where the computer does not Resume/Suspend correctly after being in Resume/Suspend mode for a long period of time. This usually happens when the battery power is too low.

Download and Installation Instructions

1. Download the N6173148.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
   NOTE: The old version of Norton Anti-Virus software may report a bogus virus in this N6173148.EXE file. Please make sure you have the latest Norton Anti-Virus software installed.
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the N6173148.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. Click Unzip to extract the files to the folder C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\N6173148.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Close.
6. Right-click the My computer icon.
7. From the drop-down menu, click Properties.
8. Click the Device Manager tab.
9. Double-click Display Adapter.
10. Double-click NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD.
11. Click the Drivers tab.
12. Click the Update Driver Button.
13. Click Next.
14. Select "Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want".
15. Click Next.
16. Click the Have Disk button.
17. Click the Browse button.
18. Open the C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\N6173148 folder.
19. Under File name, select nmgc.inf.
20. Click OK.
21. Click OK.
    NOTE: The NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD should show up under the Models.
22. Click OK.
23. Click Next.
24. Click Finish.
25. Click Yes to restart the computer.
