Download and Installation Instructions
  1. Download the NMGC5.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
  2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the NMGC5.EXE file to begin the installation.
  3. At the "NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV Display Adapter Driver Update - Welcome" screen, click Continue. Several setup boxes will appear during the installation of the driver setup files. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
  4. At the "NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV Display Adapter Driver Update Utility" setup screen, click Next.
  5. At the "Copying Files" setup screen, insert a formatted bootable floppy disk in the disk drive (A:), and then click Next. Please wait as the files are copied to the floppy disk.
  6. At the "Finished Copying Files" screen, verify that "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" is selected and click Finish to restart the system. Be sure to leave the floppy disk in the drive. The system will boot from the floppy disk and copy the updated display adapter drivers to the hard drive. Please wait as the update process takes approximately three minutes. Once the process is complete, a Command Prompt (A:\>) will be displayed.
  7. Eject the floppy disk from the drive and press the CTRL+ALT+DEL keys simultaneously to restart the system. It is recommended that you keep the disk in a safe place if it becomes necessary to reinstall the display adapter driver update. As the computer restarts, the updated video drivers will be installed.
  8. At the "System Settings Change" box, click Yes to restart the computer again.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the updated video driver is complete.
