What does this do?

This utility installs the original shipped Intel Chipset drivers for the Microsoft Windows XP Operating Systems. The utility will install drivers for the following devices:

South Bridge (4.00.1001.0)

• Intel 82801DB/DBM SMBus Controller - 24C3
• Intel 82801DBM PCI Bridge - 2448
• Intel 82801DBM LPC Interface Controller - 24CC
• Intel 82801DBM Ultra ATA Storage Controller - 24CA

North Bridge (4.20.1007.0)

• Intel 82855PM Processor to I/O Controller - 3340
• Intel 82855PM Processor to AGP Controller - 3341

Important Notes

• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

Download and Installation Instructions

1. Download the IN-G07010802ES.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the ING100KNBH.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Intel Chipsets Driver For Windows XP - InstallShield Wizard" box, click Next. Several setup boxes will briefly appear during the installation. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
4. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, click Finish to reboot the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Intel South Bridge and North Bridge Chipset INF Drivers is complete.
