This utility copies the Intel 82801 SATA AHCI Driver files to a floppy disk for use when performing a clean install of the Microsoft Windows XP operating system.

Download and Installation Instructions

1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
2. Download the INDOTH-12766700-XP.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the INDOTH-12766700-XP.EXE file to begin the installation.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to extract the driver files to floppy drive (A:\).
5. At the "WinZip Self-Extractor - INDHDC-00698616-US.EXE" dialog, click "Unzip"NOTE: By default the utility unzips all files to the floppy disk in the A: drive.
6. At the "8 file(s) unzipped successfully" dialog, click "OK", and then click "Close".

The Intel 82801 SATA AHCI Driver files are now ready for use in performing a clean installation of the Microsoft Windows XP operating system.

1. Begin the Microsoft Windows operating system setup by booting from the installation CD with the USB floppy disk drive connected.
2. At the beginning of Windows operating system setup, press the "F6" key to install a third-party SCSI or RAID driver.
3. When prompted, select "S" for Specify Additional Device.
4. When prompted, insert the floppy disk with the Intel 82801 SATA AHCI driver files.
5. After reading the floppy disk, the Intel 82801 SATA AHCI controller will be presented, select this driver to install.
6. Finish the Windows operating system installation and install all necessary drivers.
