What does this do?

This utility updates the ATI Mobility Radeon™ 9700/9200 graphics driver to version 6.14.10.6458c and resolves the following issues:

• After a screen change, the lower part of the desktop screen is not displayed.
• The computer is unable to simultaneously display LCD and DVI output at WUXGA (1900x1200) resolution.

Download and Installation Instructions

1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
2. Download the ATDVID-00610812-US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the ATDVID-00610812-US.EXE file to begin the installation.
4. At the "ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9700/9200 Graphics Controller Driver for Microsoft ..." screen, click "Next".
5. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation. NOTE: Please wait for the update to extract the installation files.
6. At the "Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for ATI Software" screen, click "Next".
7. At the "License Agreement" box for ATI Software, click "Yes" to continue.
8. At the "Select Components" box, click to select the "Express: Recommended" option. NOTE: Please wait while this update installing the necessary files to the system.
9. At the "Setup Complete" screen, click "Finish" to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the ATI Mobility Radeon™ 9700/9200 graphics driver update is complete.
